Il cinodromo di Roma era l'ultimo spazio aperto in Italia cui si svolgevano le corse di levrieri, su un percorso ellittico e spesso dietro a una lepre meccanica. Era frequentato da appassionati di cani ma, soprattutto, da incalliti scommettitori. Come molti ippodromi, non ha resistito al dilagare sul web delle scommesse e dei giochi digitali. Per molti amanti dei cani, alla fine un bene; per altri una tradizione che si è persa, pregiudicando la vita stessa dei cani. Roma, novembre 2019
