Hi Folks The weather had been pretty dreary in the UK when I took this shot (a few months ago), I went out to try and get some foggy tree Landscapes with my telephoto lenses.....but had a chance encounter with a wild Short Eared Owl instead, it was a very brief meeting, but I really liked the mood, dead tree perch, wet spiders webs and the wider view, the colours are very muted and cold....but it was taken in foggy conditions, so these represent the scene realistically. I was almost sure that i've been here and left some comment but i can't find it ;)
This is a stunning shot the composition and the subject rox but the misty mood makes it even more special,
only nit that the owl looks like cloned on the shot for a second - maybe a contrast workout would help to reduce this false impression ?
