08.08.2019 Machuhuasi Lake, una bellissima laguna che abbiamo raggiungo dopo circa 2 ore di navigazione sul fiume Madre des Dio. Abbiamo lasciato la barca e proseguito a piedi per circa 20 minuti, fino raggiungere delle piccole zattere di legno con cui si visita questa laguna, un luogo favoloso dove abbiamo 'catturato' questa meravigliosa specie, l'Hoatzin. Un'animale 'preistorico' con origini nel Cenozoico, ha un'apparato digestivo unico per gli uccelli con un sistema di fermentazione batterica che ricorda i ruminanti, per questo motivo non ha un odore e sapore piacevole e di conseguenza non ha predatori. #wild
