, 1/6 f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod. Landmannalaugar, Iceland.

Guys thank you so much back to everyone!!
Simone, I understand what your "fear" is; if on the one hand the search for new and less viewed perspectives attracts me (as I think it's also right, to a certain extent), it's not the only thing I look for, and it's not a collection of figurines that I aim to do. Or at least, I hope not! :-)
A greeting, Leonardo

hello Leo
I promise that I do not know these places and their colors, so as they say in these cases I am ignorant in the matter :-D
and I assume that as a simple photoamateur as I am, I shoot completely differently from yours, clearly x my choice ;-)
x this I ask you to understand that personally I find this shot of yours of sure impact but really unnatural, at least this is the feeling that I
clearly you remain in the tastes
a greeting
Simone :-)

In my opinion there is classical photography and fine art photography, where the photographer (artist) puts his vision and his art (provided he has the qualities).
This is definitely an artistic photo, of remarkable beauty and impact... C is the personal vision transmitted with excellent qualities of photography and post-production.
We are always on the subject of how much you process a photo in post... Personally I stop to look at a beautiful image, that catches me... Both it came out of the raw without elaboration scan and excellently produced post.
All Leonardo's photos are technically great and visually striking... Those who do not like the genre should not criticize, because it is a personal vision of the artist that must not change according to a contrary opinion.

This is definitely an artistic photo,
Ah then I'm sorry, I didn't realize it
... Those who do not like the genre should not criticize, because it is a personal vision of the artist that must not change according to a contrary opinion.
I'm like I'm not forgetting this, I don't want to fall into the mistake
... maybe, it would be better to close the comment area at this point since certain photos can not be criticized

I don't know... I see photos with absurd production posts with hundreds of likes and super positive comments... Just because maybe they're made by well-known people... And I see beautiful photos completely ignored or with stinging opinions.
I rarely comment because I don't feel anyone in order to make a judgment.

I agree Ram... But what does this have to do with being able to express an opinion on a photo on the forum?
Then let's be clear.... fine art? Normal photography? it's a point photograph.... it seems to me that on this forum the word "artist" is definitely abused.
Artists are others. ;-)

But yes, it's a bit like politics. Everyone has their own ideas gained from their own experiences. The debate is permissible but in the end everyone remains with their own convictions.

But it is also right and permissible that everyone remains of our own ideas, and above all that each of us tries to express our own language on the photographic level, but x the convinations personally is a little different
It all depends on what comes out and what way they can Come...
If we talk about artistic photos I place say that attending a club where there are high-level authors and therefore practitioners also of this genre, they are sometimes the first to have doubts and to confront x receive opinions and constructive criticism
So if even the "artists" the real ones, as Well says Simone compare xthat we should not do? expressing with education and respect our thinking :-)
the forum serves especially to this x as I see it ;-)

Congratulations on the photo.
The colors and shades, together with the textures that emerge from the landscape give me the idea of a design. It looks like a mixture of pencils and watercolor.
A greeting
