Jean Babtiste Cerlogne - Padre della poesia franco provenzale in Valle d'Aosta, autore di un'opera monumentale, tra cui la grammatica ed il primo dizionario valdostano - Lungo il sentiero che conduce al rifugio Mont Fallere (m.2385) sono disseminate oltre 200 sculture lignee di ogni genere e dimensione, nei luoghi più impensati e negli atteggiamenti più curiosi. Questa rappresenta appunto Jean Babtiste Cerlogne, curato di Saint Nicolas (AO), in atteggiamento meditativo, sembra contemplare la sua valle. E' un'apparizione sorprendente, inaspettata, lungo il cammino che conduce al "Mont Fallere". La maggior parte di queste sculture sono opera di Siro Vierin, proprietario e gestore del rifugio.
