Beautiful shot great the light and reflections that comes from this angle ..... very interesting and detailed as always your caption that tells us very instructive information and details at least for me Definitely I was oblivious to it ,on the one hand I agree with the thought of Joseph I am quite animal activist ,maybe it was better than this hunt remained as in the beginning where the catch was smaller and therefore it was more protected a species as seen in many other species. This of course remains a thought of mine that can be shared or not. Hello Sergio a dear greeting Roberto 8-)

Hello Peppe. I waited for the boat to pass in the wake of the still low sun, just to catch it on the sparkling sea.
Happy you liked this image.
Thank you so much

Thank you Eus.
The road I walk every morning to go to work skirts the Strait of Messina.
Every day the show is similar, so one morning I left early to catch the still low sun and have time to take some pictures.
Happy you likedit

Hi Sergio.
Happy you still enjoyed this shot.
I could tell you that the temptation to give it, I imagined it might have bothered you.
I didn't do it because that trellis, along with the twin on the Sicilian coast, are two "monuments" now, for the Sicilian and Calabrian inhabitants of the Strait of Messina. Remains of industrial archaeology, built to support the power line that served Sicily
Today remained "guardians" of the two shores are dear to us.
Thank you for the advice that I think is correct.

Hi Roberto.
I was so pleased to read your comment and you. I thank you very much for your beautiful words
Also Happy with your animal belief.
Frankly I don't know what numbers are with this traditional method.
I know not to be tall.
Sometimes a boat can return "empty-handed"
I travel the coastal line every day and throughout the strait I don't see more than 5 boats.
Each one in the area assigned to him. So I don't think there are many specimens captured.
Thank you so much
