ad Alyko, nella parte Sud-Ovest dell'isola di Naxos ci sono i resti di un residence abbandonato, o meglio mai finito. Ne è rimasta l'ossatura: muri, stanze vuote, cemento grigio. Tutto intorno, i cedri creano un contrasto con la desolazione. Tra l'altro, il residence doveva sorgere in un bel punto panoramico, con un'ampia vista sul mare su ben 3 lati. Di fatto non è mai stato ultimato. Proprio qui, comunque, l'artista indonesiano WD aka Wild Drawing ha realizzato alcuni murales davvero belli e molto particolari. Unici direi, e per questo meritevoli di visita.Nato a Bali e basato ad Atene, WD (che sarebbero le iniziali del suo nome e che significa anche 'Wild Drawing', appunto) è conosciuto per le sue opere foto realistiche che spesso trattano temi politici e sociali al fine di provocare una reazione e suscitare dibattito. L'artista infatti critica spesso il capitalismo e lo stile di vita consumistico, in modo mai banale. Ed esprime senza paura la propria opinione anche su altri importanti temi, tutti di super-attualità per non dire incandescenti: la guerra, la povertà, il razzismo, la distruzione dell'ambiente.
