Il Symphytum officinale è comunemente chiamato Consolida maggiore ed appartiene alla famiglia delle Boraginaceae . Fiorisce tra Maggio ed Agosto ed è diffuso in tutta Italia, al centro e al nord, dal livello del mare sin verso i 1.400 m slm. E' pianta commestibile ed officinale. Il nome del genere dal greco “symphuò” = io unisco, in relazione al potere cicatrizzante del rizoma, che nel passato si supponeva potesse contribuire a far rinsaldare le ossa fratturate; il nome specifico indica la sua collocazione fra le piante medicinali. Scatto effettuato in Val di Fassa a circa 1.300 m slm nel Luglio 2019. Graditissimi commenti, positivi o critici, purché motivati. Grazie.
