Hello Marzia. Your observation is absolutely shareable: a more articulate sky, would have stolen the role of first protagonist at the monument. The flowers are the frame. A sky full of beautiful clouds would enter deeply, between columns and the other inside the temple. Maybe I would have preferred a beautiful blue sky ;-)
A good greeting
Good weekend

Hello Rosario, I'm glad you enjoyed this shot. It was not easy to reach the pdr with flowers in the foreground, but I wanted the suggestion of the temples wrapped among the flowers in full spring explosion.
Thank you so much for your nice comment and for your always welcome compliments.
Good weekend

Hello Fabio, I'm so glad you appreciated this image, but above all it evoked pleasant memories of time spent in Sicily. Island of a thousand surprises.
Thank you so much for your ride and nice comment

Thank you Rod, the site is amazing, the largest archaeological site in Europe! It seems strange to be found in Sicily and not in Greece. My recent visit was a great emotion, also for having been able to do it together with the director of the site.
I'm glad you liked this picture. I had to fight with a thorny bramble to earn the chosen pdr, but it was worth a few scratches.
Thank you very much
Good weekend

Very interesting the pdr and the framing of the structural remains of this temple caught with beautiful colors on a monochrome atono background typical of the cloudless skies and with almost "dodge" light, a little harsh, as he wanted only to do as a pure backdrop, as if he were ideally conscious in this case, not being able to make something more appreciable than his own, maybe with a few clouds and a little color ..., but in the sea areas and in certain ambiental conditions ;-) , atmospheric and lighting, sometimes you have to even settle a little firm while wanting, a "light heater" at the color temperature in post you could also evaluate it on an image copy 8-) , but it is right to exchange two words without commitment, the photo of the rest, expresses its all the best you could pull it out and in the shot general eye, lets you appreciate with pleasure :-) : congratulations Sergio.
A carfissimo greeting, Claudio :-P

Thank you very much Claudio for your kind passage and favorable comment on this image, I'm glad you appreciated it and thank you very much also for the compliments, but especially for the advice. In pp to be honest, I gave a slight "heated" to the color temperature, but only just, never like too much intervening heavily. In fact, checking the result between the obtained file and the original: the difference is minimal. I could perhaps have "dasare" more, as advice. In fact the shot was performed in the full day, if I remember correctly, around noon, then with hard light, definitely.
A warm day, full of light, but with wind of syrup that often carries with it a veiling of the sky.
Thanks
Good weekend
Sergio
