Il vulcano di Manadotua è un vulcano spento. Nell'immagine quello alto. L'isola piatta a fianco, è l'isola di Bunaken, che dà il nome al parco marino di questo piccolo arcipelago e che comprende l'isola di Siladen da dove è scattata la foto. Essendo molto vicini all'equatore, per tutto l'anno i giorni sono di circa 12 ore, il sole sorge sempre nello stesso punto e tramonta (visto da Siladen) sempre a fianco del vulcano di Manaodotua.
