Stamattina sono andata all'Abbazia di Chiaravalle e, precisamente nella Bottega dei monaci cistercensi, per acquistare le mie preziose erbe aromatiche, e non ho resistito a fare click. E' uno scatto di nessun valore, ma mi piaceva troppo l'espressione do questo giovane frate. Intanto, qualche notizia sulla Bottega che, magari potrà esservi di qualche utilità. La bottega dei monaci di Chiaravalle, Abbazia fondata nel 1135 da San Bernardo di Clairvauz, offre una vasta gamma di prodotti monastici e artigianali elaborati e confezionati dai monaci stessi. Prodotti dell'alveare, piante ed erbe officinali , rimedi naturali, cosmetici, dolci, vini di abbazia , birre trappiste-monastiche-d'abbazia, amari e liquori, sughi, salumi, formaggi, prodotti da forno ecc.. Nel banco frigo potete trovare anche uova e avicoli dell' allevamento rurale dei monaci e prodotti stagionali del loro orto. La bottega nasce dal desiderio di condividere con chiunque ne abbia il desiderio, la tradizione monastica basata sulla regola di San Benedetto "ora et labora". Tutti i prodotti provenienti da queste realtà sono interamente a produzione monastica. Grazie alla collaborazione con altre realtà religiose, si è riusciti a creare una realtà che potesse offrire la possibilità di testimoniare a tutti, le infinite produzioni monastiche provenienti da tutto il mondo. A pochi passi dalla Bottega, sulla destra, entrando dal Portale d'ingresso si trova il Ristoro dell'Abbazia, che è un luogo dove poter sostare in tranquillità avendo così l'occasione di degustare e scoprire i molteplici prodotti monastici e artigianali. La posizione riservata del ristoro permette la tranquillità più assoluta per vivere un momento di pace nella vita frenetica di ogni giorno, affiancata alla visione dell'abbazia.
