L'Hepatica nobilis Mill. , comunemente chiamata Erba Trinità o Anemone epatica, appartiene alla famiglia delle Ranuncolaceae , fiorisce tra febbraio e maggio ed è diffusa in tutta Italia, tra i 100 ed i 2.000 m. slm., tranne che in Puglia (non più ritrovata) e sulle Isole maggiori. Il nome del genere deriva dal latino “hepar” per la forma ed il colore inferiore delle foglie che ricordano il fegato e “nobilis” anch'esso dal latino con significato di conosciuto, noto. E' erba tossica. Scatto effettuato nel mese di Marzo 2019 a circa 1.100 m. slm. sul monte Campo dei Fiori (VA).
