A sight seldom seen because the area around Old Harry Rocks is usually covered in water, as in the next image in this gallery. It is only when there is an exceptionally low tide, that it is possible to walk out to the rocks - and only then with extreme caution, as it is a 45 minute walk to get there, the way is slippery with seaweed and there is nowhere to escape an incoming tide - the cliffs run sheer down to the water. Today it was possible - and I am not one to miss an opportunity!
