Ad Ahmedabad ho potuto entrare in una scuola durante l'orario delle lezioni ; le classi erano affollate, ma tutti i bambini sembravano particolarmente attenti e interessati alle spiegazioni. Ovviamente con il mio arrivo si creava un po' di scompiglio....tranne che in questa classe : la maestra ha continuato a disegnare il pavone diventando un tutt'uno di grazia ed eleganza con il disegno stesso , e le alunne ( si, tutte femmine) hanno lasciato i banchi solo quando il disegno è stato completato e la maestra ha fatto un cenno. A quel punto la maestra mi ha guardata e mi ha sorriso benevolmente: ricevere uno sguardo e il suo sorriso è stato come tornare bambina e come se l'approvazione fosse anche per il mio lavoro..... Davvero un momento intenso.
