Take Life with philosophy... sent on February 20, 2019 (0:02) by Rodema. 71 comments, 1236 views. [retina]

Perfect picture and caption. The first thought, seeing the image went right there, to a character in Greek mythology. Wonderful intuition. Congratulations.

I took a nanosecond to identify the profile (I still took it from the figurine), half an hour to read your educate didactic exhibition. Very interesting and to share your exposé. Maybe you could apply this school of thought to our hectic society. Nice enigmatic Rod job.
Bye Josh ;-)

Plato, Phaedrus: "The alphabet will create oblivion in the souls of those who learn it: they will cease to practise the memory because trusting in the written call things to the mind no longer from within oneself, but from the outside, through extraneous signs: what You have found is not a recipe for memory but to call to mind. Nor do you offer true wisdom to your schoolchildren, but you only give them the appearance because, thanks to you, being able to have news of many things without teaching, they will be believed to be very low, while for the most part they won't know anything. "
This shot brought to mind the myth of Theuth, in which Socrates, by the mouth of Plato, shows that knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing.... So I thank you for this proposal that makes you think....
