… all'inizio non si preoccupò minimamente, pensava di esser stato semplicemente appoggiato li per pochi attimi, come era già successo altre volte, poi li vide allontanarsi e pensò .. i soliti distratti, mi hanno dimenticato, ma appena arriveranno alla macchina si accorgeranno della mia mancanza e torneranno a prendermi, continuò a guardare in quella direzione fiducioso, ma … seppur quei momenti sembrassero interminabili, il tempo passava con la solita Gregoriana velocità, eravamo ormai ad Ottobre ed il sole in quella stagione, quando il pomeriggio era ormai tardo, sembrava voler correre velocemente a nascondersi dietro al promontorio, e così presto arrivò il buio e quando l'aria si fece più fresca rabbrividì .. fors'anche per il timore delle tenebre, ma non si perse d'animo e continuò speranzoso a pensare che il giorno seguente li avrebbe visti arrivare, il nuovo giorno arrivò e lo sguardo era costantemente rivolto nella direzione in cui li aveva visti partire discutendo allegramente, passò così tutta la giornata, ma niente .. di loro neppure l'ombra, col calare della sera le sue sicurezze cominciarono a vacillare e iniziarono i dubbi, le domande … tante, ma alcuna risposta certa, non capiva. I giorni si susseguirono velocemente, ogni nuovo dì era più breve del precedente e più freddo, arrivò la pioggia e poi di nuovo il sole, poi ancora la pioggia che sembrava essere incessante e lo infradiciò, poi ancora il sole che secco come non mai mise a dura prova la sua “pelle” tesa, e … come se non bastasse, anche il vento iniziò a soffiare da Nord, era la gelida tramontana, tutti questi elementi a lui sinora sconosciuti, gli provocarono le prime ferite, piccoli taglietti ai quali non fece neppure caso, un barlume di speranza era ancora in lui, ma la tramontana incalzò incessantemente per alcuni giorni e ben presto quei piccoli taglietti divennero vere e proprie ferite e a nulla valse il suo primordiale istinto di conservazione, la sua “pellaccia” inizio a lacerarsi sino a ridurlo in brandelli e lui, ridotto ormai ad uno “scheletro”, continuò a soffrire in silenzio, pensando al perché … perché dopo aver fatto per mesi degnamente il suo dovere, fosse stato costretto a vivere la triste esperienza dell'abbandono in quel modo … solo. - (Rod) #DegradoAmbientale
