Pattern at Organ Pipe Canyon sent on December 09, 2018 (14:06) by SimoneOssola. 33 comments, 938 views. [retina]

at 105mm, 1/800 f/5.6, ISO 200, hand held. Namib-Naukluft Park, Namibia.

Organ Pipes si trova vicino alla località di Tweifelfontain nella regione del Damaralnd, la caratteristica è che in questa area ci sono delle rocce che si sono formate 120 milioni di anni fa e hanno assunto e sembrano le canne di un grosso organo. Pareri e critiche sempre graditi.

You have carved in this harsh natural environment a remarkable detail for the rigorous lines and the incredible chromatic nuances. Congratulations, I like it very much. A dear greeting. Silvio. :-)

Beautiful the cut and the choice of lights that highlight this fascinating subject. If you allow me I can tell you that the "strange Rocks" of which he spoke are basalts that, over time, have lost their distinctive black color (as they are now in Iceland for example) and, in contact with all kinds of weather, have taken this palette of colors.
Greetings. 8-)

Hello Jacopo Thank you for the welcome visit and the comment and thanks for the explanation in reference to rocks.
I wasn't aware of it, so don't make any decisions about giving me information I'm not aware of.
