Un abbraccio a tutti - La foto è fatta al tramonto ieri sera tardi. ------------------------------------La basilica di Saccargia La basilica di Saccargia appare improvvisa percorrendo la SS Olbia-Sassari. Attraversando la valle intercollinare nel comune di Codrongianos, vedrete in lontananza la guglia del campanile. L' impatto con la sua imponenza è davvero forte ed emozionante. Inconfondibile nello sfondo con la sua rigatura orizzontale bicolore in pietra policroma. Il suo punto di forza è sicuramente la sua posizione, al vertice di una valle, in piena campagna logudorese. Rallentare è instintivo, fermarsi per ammirare il sito è d' obbligo! La basilica della SS. Trinità di Saccargia, è tra le chiese romanico-pisane più famose della Sardegna. E' stata edificata nel corso del XII secolo ad opera dell' Ordine Camaldonese. Fu consacrata nel 1116, in seguito alla donazione di Costantino I, giudice di Torres. Si racconta che egli e la moglie riuscirono ad avere un figlio solo in seguito ad un voto alla Madonna. I Camaldolesi venerarono e per riconoscenza fecero realizzare un monastero. La basilica faceva parte di un grande complesso monastico di cui sono visibili i resti.
