L'Islanda non è solo cascate, che sono senz'altro l'attrazione principale per turisti e fotografi, ma anche fiordi. Ebbene sì, insieme a mia moglie ci siamo avventurati nei West Fjords, alloggiando nel piccolo villaggio di Thingeyri, raggiungibile solo percorrendo gravel road, a non meno di 5 ore d'auto dalla “civiltà” per come la intendiamo..insomma da un po' di vita. Tuttavia questi posti isolati, silenziosi e non frequentati dal turismo di massa mi hanno regalato emozioni uniche, tramonti indimenticabili e una luce stupenda. Nella foto che è anche un autoscatto mi trovo in cima ad un rilievo, rivolto verso Ovest, verso la Groenlandia, verso nuovi orizzonti, verso la libertà. Lo ricorderò tutta la vita. Spero vi piaccia!
