Hard hit... sent on August 14, 2018 (23:46) by Rodema. 54 comments, 1212 views. [retina]

1/160 f/5.8, ISO 125, hand held.

- (Rod) ---- NB: NO LIKE PLEASE!!

On August 14th, Genoa died on that bridge. :-(
A symbol for the city almost like the lantern.

I have already opened a post on August 14 and I aggregate to all of you, is there still the truck on the edge of the bridge?

I associate myself with your words Rod... "I am angry, distressed and mortified"... even more so when I hear pronounce Jeri media the usual sentence
disaster announced
... who?... who?... why could such a disaster happen? WHO assumes responsibility for all this?.... questions that I fear will be very difficult to obtain clear and exhaustive answers. My thoughts to the innocent victims and my closeness to all the people who are suffering.

A huge tragedy that perfectly identifies the situation of our country. A country with feet of clay that sinks more and more and that costs innocent lives. A thought to the relatives of the victims and to all the people who were personally touched by this absurd catastrophe. Come on Genoa! Seba

I also want to express my closeness to all the Genoese and to all the families of the victims of this immense tragedy. The hope is that clarity and justice will be made as soon as possible.
A hug to all the friends of Genoa.

Dear Rod As you know my city has suffered great wounds. The largest the massacre of the station. We were all in a hurry to get to know the principals of this tragedy. We'il never know that. Like all other Italian tragedies, the dead and the family remain ghosts. I have no confidence and no chance. I hope that your drama is not that me others. Too much interest in playing too much economic power. I am very afraid said with much suffering. I have the heart close to you to your many problems that I could see in person. Don't resign yourselves to Genoese people, scream as loudly as possible. Italy listens to you I hope the state also does. All my solidarity
Mary

Among the many things that I would write, and that I found in some places in the comments of others, I decide not to write anything, but to send to all of Genoa, to all the people who are suffering, and those who are working on this huge disaster , a big virtual hug.
and a special hug to you, dear Rod.

Agate.. I agree with you, has already been said of everything and more, we hope that it is not yet another hole in the water, but those who have made the technical report in which it is said that they were made of important work.. They say "it was not our competence to block traffic", it has already begun the ballet of skills.. So I see it hard, as usual will still hear about our grandchildren, but without alas know the slightest facts! Petty who has paid the consequences!
Thank you so much for leaving your opinion on that.
A dear greeting, Rod ;-)

To do justice, in this and in (unfortunately) so many similar cases successes, is practically impossible. Even if and when one or more managers are identified and punished, who will return to relatives the affections of those who have lost their lives under the rubble?
The only thing is to hope, to hope that, in a wriggle of newfound dignity, the institutions and all those who have responsibilities will work so that these facts do not have to repeat themselves and get busy because this hope becomes a reality.
I am sure that the Genoese will not sit on the rubble to weep, but they will turn their sleeves until those rubble will not be just a, albeit sad, remember!
Thanks Rod!
