Sul taglio della composizione è già stato detto a sufficienza, non ho nulla da aggiungere se non che personalmente non lo trovo armonioso. Ma hai già spiegato le tue ragioni per tale scelta.
Vorrei invece soffermarmi, in senso costruttivo, sull'illuminazione utilizzata, in particolare mi riferisco all'eccessiva intensità della striplight di sinistra, che a mio parere andava regolata diminuendola di uno stop - uno stop e mezzo, per non entrare in concorrenza con la main light. Avrei inoltre allontanato il soggetto dallo sfondo quel tanto che basta per non inquinare quest'ultimo con la luce residua, allo scopo andava bene anche una griglia sulla luce di sinistra per renderla più direzionale sui profilo della modella.
Avere pressappoco la stessa intensità di luce sui capelli a destra ed a sinistra del viso toglie tridimensionalità alla foto, vanificando i benefici dati da una illuminazione laterale, facendo assomigliare il risultato a quello ottenibile con un'illuminazione frontale diretta.
Credo che l'aggiunta di una luce da dietro avrebbe valorizzato maggiormente lo scatto staccando definitivamente il soggetto dallo sfondo che attualmente è troppo poco separato.
Naturalmente si tratta solo del mio punto di vista senza pretesa alcuna se non quella di un'eventuale scambio di opinioni.
