con Canon EF 1.4x II, 1/640 f/9.0, ISO 250, hand held.

I think this is quite an unusual Bearded Tit/Reedling, the Iris (on both Eyes) is dark brown/red, the Iris would normally be a distinct "Peach" colour in the Males (and more Yellow in the females).....so I have no ideas how rare this abnormality is?, but it was very interesting to see this oddity :) If you check on Flickr, there are photo's of the same bird by other photographers, here's a link to the man that first showed me this bird http://www.flickr.com/photos/jellybeanzgallery/6256737971/in/photostream Thanks for looking, cheers! :)

Great light and subject. Was trying to photograph some the other day, but they just weren't showing. There is only one location in Ireland that holds a small breeding population of these birds and they have the peach iris.
