Non sono laghi veri e propri quelli di Conversano. Sono delle depressioni con al centro una cisterna che quando l'acqua piovana la riempie e straborda si forma un piccolo lago tutt'intorno. Servivano anticamente all'approvvigionamento idrico dei terreni agricoli circostanti. Oggi non vengono più utilizzati come tali e sono diventati il divertimento di uccelli e bambini, come quello delle foto, che si trova subito fuori città sulla strada per Casamassima. Ecco come con il tempo che passa e cambiano gli usi, la natura si trasforma. Migliorando la bellezza del paesaggio. Commensi e consigli sempre graditi. Grazie
