Dear Ivan,
is a really wonderful feeling also because you "immerse" in a situation too different from those we are accustomed to: think that, during the ceremony, my daughter has managed to walk, barefoot, on the famous "Carpet" of nails!
Thank you so much for the welcome visit and for the beautiful appreciation!

Dearest Fabiana,
... shows a great respect for mankind, beyond their religion...
I fully agree with you.
The people Mauritian is truly a very peaceful people and the various religions professed on the island, five or even six, coexist serenely without the slightest "conflict"! The places of worship are often one beside the other and each one goes where the "guide" their faith without disrespecting the ideas and "beliefs" of others.
A thousand Thanks for the beautiful comment and for the always Graditissimi compliments!
A Affettuosissimo greeting,
Paul

It is a pleasure to read what you have written and admire what you have photographed. Do you imagine Paul if this experience you described was put in place even in the hottest places in religious intolerance? Religious fanaticism is the attitude of those who identify in a particularly exasperated, or worse violent way, and find fertile ground in the most fragile social strata, disadvantaged and less educated. Good image that effectively synthesizes the concept you express.
Bye Josh ;-)

Beautiful and very intense photo The atmosphere
A beautiful document accompanied by a very interesting caption that makes us understand what it means to be civil.
Not all the West manages to have this degree of civilization.
Many compliments Paul

Dear Josh and Pierpaolo ,
I totally share what you have written and I can tell you that for me it was really nice, also because this makes us hope for a better world at least for our children, see how in this island everyone can Quietly praying the "God" he wants without going into conflict with others. The places of worship, including the Catholic Churches, are normally very close to each other (in many cases next to each other) and the people who go there walk along the street together and as soon as they arrive they greet each other cordially and each goes to "pray" where they feel more ... appropriate!
If this is not civilization! So many western people should take... example!
Thank you so much for having appreciated this my image, especially in its "meaning", and for the Always Graditissimi compliments!

Dear Beppe,
This "priest" (I do not know how else to define it) after having "preached" in their language there was a "summary" of what he had just said in English so as to allow us to... understand.
Experience truly unique and, perhaps, unrepeatable that, even alone, would "justified" the journey in this beautiful land.
Thank you so much for focusing on my shot and for the always very welcome congratulations.
