Wild herd of fallow deer, in a field, within a large wood, yesterday afternoon. 40% crop, rather severe added sharpness but being the undoubted highlight of the long, muddy walk, following their hoof marks within the woods and occasional sighting of one of them, I had to post! #Deer

AND everyone else, huge and many thanks to all. I'm glad you liked my very English scene, an unremarkable one but it's always a pleasure to see deer.

Thank you Stefano! I hope you enjoy your visit!

Philip - actually, the problem can be when the group is too spread out to make a neat, convincing photo. They had grouped together in this case as they were alarmed at seeing me but as I was so far away and of no danger to them, they began to get back to grazing.
