Scilla e' ai piedi dell'aspromonte come si puo' notare dalla foto.Infatti salendo per circa 11 km lungo la strada immersa in un rigoglioso bosco di castagno si arriva all'abitato Melia di scilla(660 s.l.m e circa 500 abitanti).Abitato con alberghi e ristoranti.Proseguendo tra boschi infiniti per altri 15 km si arriva a Gambarie D'Aspromonte stazione sciistica a 1300 s.l.m.Da qui escursioni fino a 2000 mt s.l.m(montalto).Tutto dal mare a Gambarie in appena 26 km
