All'angolo di Piazza Duomo e le Vecchie Scuole Palatine, ogni tanto mi capita di vedere questo bravissimo artista di strada. L'ultima volta faceva il suo spettacolo di marionette senza pubblico...mi sono avvicinata e mi ha detto: "...lo faccio, nella speranza che qualche famiglia si avvicini. Ma le marionette e i miei peluches, hanno perso il fascino del passato, ormai i bambini, giocano con i computer e con gli smartphone. Sono qui dalla dieci, siamo quasi a mezzogiorno, e in quel cappello non ci sono più di cinque euro. Bisogna che mi inventi qualcos'altro, ormai..." A parte il triste destino di questo artista di strada, che dovrà trovarsi un'altra occupazione per portare a casa la pagnotta, c'è un'altra grande tristezza: i bambini non vivono più la loro età.
