Thanking everyone. I am more than pleased with the response as ordinarily I probably wouldn't have posted as the shooting conditions and resulting quality were not quite good enough.
But it was an experiment and I spent a long time editing it and I think it important when representing a lens of 'special' and unique qualities how it performs at the extremes of both its abilities and the photographer's.
Street photographers will mind less about these things - I cannot state that the circular fisheye is a convincing addition to the Street shooter's arsenal, but it certainly does open up, literally, very wide new vistas. |
