Paignton Pier - on a wet March Morning sent on March 21, 2018 (20:02) by Timk2. 36 comments, 970 views. [retina]

at 10mm, 1/80 f/9.0, ISO 200, hand held.

Rain spots on the graduated grey filter, MUCH editing undertaken to correct lens' barrel distortion (bending the sea), a badly sloping horizon and ugly vertical distortion on the left, all of which I've largely corrected. It had to remain in colour, with red sand and colourful bunting, trying to cheer the otherwise empty and cheerless pier. #Pier

Thanks Chris - I never shy away from a difficult subject and give it my best shot, though of course not all work! In this case, I am very unlikely to return to this location, so had nothing to lose.
