Una leggenda narra che in tempi antichi, viveva alle Colombaie (podere di Modigliana) una signora che fece costruire il ponte sull'Acerreta, per questo chiamato semplicemente "Ponte della Signora". Ogni sera ella usciva e lo attraversava a cavallo per osservare le sue terre. Una sera il cavallo scivolò, la signora precipitò nel fiume con il cavallo e morì. Da allora si dice che nelle notti di luna piena all'una appaia sul ponte il suo fantasma, vestito di nero e con il viso insanguinato.
