Firenze ... febbraio 2018 ... Piena di media entità e portata quella che nella giornata di ieri ha sfilato, rumorosa ma innocua, sotto i ponti e sopra le pescaie del centro fiorentino ... ma basta veramente poco per far crescere l'ansia sui Lungarni! I documenti storici raccontano di qualcosa come 173 alluvioni, più o meno "ruinose" per la città, a far data dal 1177 fino a quella devastante del 1966: ma le poderose arcate del Vecchio Ponte, ricostruite da Taddeo Gaddi nel 1345 dopo che la precedente struttura era stata, guarda caso!, spazzata via dalla furia dell'Arno, ne avran viste a migliaia di piene come questa! ...
