Bravissimo Rinaldo I see that when you take up a work of art like this, you do not just dwell on the exterior aspects, which are however very well kept, but you take the deepest meaning, it is true, even if it seems paradoxical, it is on the cross that death is won. Reading your caption I also observed that the Christ is almost realistic and certainly of great impact, your photo manages to emphasize these aspects, I hope I did not get bored but I would like to note that this perspective from the bottom up makes me remember a famous painting by Masaccio.
Have a nice Sunday
Agate

The shot is really beautiful, as beautiful is the work of wood art.
I carefully read your caption, and I fully understand the difficulties you have had to face to bring this work home ... often contortionism is part of the game if you want to get shots and particular shots or subjects not perfectly in "pose" .
What we do not fully realize, at least I, are the size of the statue ... I never said it was almost 6 meters large. !!
Shot really nice and cared for, with excellent light management that allows you to appreciate the beauty of details and colors.
Congratulations Rinaldo.
Best wishes. Mauro

Powerful and suggestive image. I'm not sure, but I wonder if the "everything in focus" given by the focus stacking has not flattened it too much ... However very beautiful. Compliments!
