Bellissima giornata trascorsa in compagnia degli amici juzzini. Felicissimi di aver dato il benvenuto fra noi alle new entry: Emmer, Gigi e Stefano Di Chiazza. E' stato con noi, anche l'amico Vittorio Dellaca che, ci aveva promesso la sua presenza quando andava in pensione, promessa mantenuta, bentornato e auguri per il traguardo raggiunto. Finalmente ho avuto il piacere di conoscere di persona la simpaticissima Donna e il suo compagno Lele, un felice ritorno quello di Carracate, grazie a Cinzia che ha esorcizzato il suo mal di schiena per raggiungerci. E poi che dire, è sempre una gioia riabbracciare Ezio, Bruno e Rosanna, il mio amico Fonzie, che con sfacciata impudenza, chiamo “mostro”, lo juzzino artista Canopo, autore di questa foto. Per salutare Mar40, o mi porto lo sgabello da casa, o devo alzare il collo come le giraffe, e infine, che dire, abbiamo mangiato tutti molto bene, chiacchierato parecchio, e sono anche riuscita a convincere il giovane Averroé ad essere con noi a Firenze. Nel primo pomeriggio, tutti a Palazzo Reale per visitare l'attesissima esposizione del pluripremiato fotografo americano, considerato universalmente l'erede di Robert Capa, è la prima tappa internazionale di un tour nei più importanti musei di tutto il mondo. La mostra propone una imponente riflessione individuale e collettiva sul tema della guerra. Curata da Roberto Koch e dallo stesso James Nachtwey. Memoria rappresenta una produzione originale e la più grande retrospettiva mai concepita sul suo lavoro. All'uscita, ancora due chiacchiere, qualche scatto street, e con baci e abbracci e promessa di rivederci presto, abbiamo rotto le righe. Gli assenti sono invitati a rispondere al prossimo appello.
