As my title says, Peppe, it's mist!
Thank you everybody, I am so pleasantly surprised to the positive comments - no-one has even asked where the original colour version is and how that MUST be better!
The colour original is indeed, very beautiful and very orange. But I really wanted to go about the challenge for the quite difficult task of the black and white conversion, which does only involve two colours (red and yellow) to alter contrast and density and everything. Minor tweaking changed the image rather too drastically.
The central portion had by far the most work, selectively enhancing after the conversion, the whole task took some 30 minutes.
I will, of course, upload the edited colour original (I always make a copy of the original edited PSD to work on for conversions) in due course.
