con Nikon TC-14E II, 1/125 f/5.6, ISO 800, tripod. Specie: Melanerpes formicivorus

(Melanerpes formicivorus) Picchio che vive in comunita' composte da una decina di unita' (1-3 femmine e 7-8 maschi in competizione per la riproduzione) e accumula cibo in alberi o piante che usa come vere dispense. Vive sia nell'America settentrionale che in quella meridionale (più' che altro nelle zone occidentali). Questo soggetto e' stato fotografato in Colombia
