#Chiese

In fact, Paul, the outside of this church does not say much (except perhaps the beautiful fresco of the Trinity in the lunette above the entrance door), but inside ....
Many thanks for the very welcome comment that made me a great pleasure!
Hello and good evening!

Many thanks, Micio for the welcome comment!
It is true, the outside of the church does not say much, but the cycle of frescoes of the presbytery and the altarpiece are small wonders!

A beautiful church with a very simple structure that could also go unnoticed and not stimulate the visit inside.
Interior that instead turns out to be very interesting as demonstrated by your later images .....
The shot is very well done, both as a frame and as a management of colors and lights.
The caption is very interesting and complete.
Congratulations Massimo! :-)

Well, Roberto, when last summer I went to look for the little church on the advice of the owner of the residence of Santa Caterina, where I was staying, I do not hide that I felt a great sense of disappointment. Apart from the fresco in the lunette above the door, nothing special. Yes, nice location, nice view, nice mountains around, but ...
Waiting for the guide to open the church I wondered, doubtfully, if it was worth it and, with me, the other two people waiting for the opening.
As he opened the door they felt three ... wow !!!
Many thanks for the very welcome comment, I'm very happy with your appreciation of the shot and the caption!
Good evening!

Small, intimate church, I also like the nearby woodpile, I imagine long evenings near the chimneys- :-P thanks for watching Massimo!
