I Colli Asolani sono il punto di partenza per passeggiate ed escursioni intorno alla città che dolcemente circondano. Dal centro storico si diramano diversi percorsi da fare a piedi o in bicicletta. In primavera la fioritura dei ciliegi e dei peschi colora il paesaggio. Passeggiare attraverso le valli e i “foresti”, le strade che dalla pianura portano al centro, è sempre un'esperienza piacevole. Nei dintorni sono da vedere grandi capolavori dell'arte italiana: a 5 km Villa Barbaro di Maser, progettata da Andrea Palladio (1550) con affreschi di Paolo Veronese, a 10 km Possagno, con la casa natale e la Gipsoteca dello scultore neoclassico Antonio Canova (1757-1822), lì sepolto; a 5 km. la tomba Brion, opera di Carlo Scarpa, notevole esempio di architettura funeraria; a 14 km Villa Emo, altro capolavoro dell'architettura palladiana.
