Congratulations, Simonetta, for the shot, very nice, well done and curious (in its drama, true or presumed that it is!). As many congratulations for the caption!

Nice shooting, true, there are all pipers of all kinds.
Bella caption with the final note. However, to cleave witness that it is up to the pipers: - |
Dear years of happy New Year GA :-P

Thank you all for your attention and kind comments, and a wish again for a wonderful new year !!

@ Rinaldo: I do not agree. the pipers have abject goals and do incalculable damages. the mortars, especially in Venice, are crumbled with brackish like the rind of certain trees, and are dutifully remade continuously. this justifies them in part, of course, but there is really no comparison between them ...
best wishes to you too ;-)

Unfortunately I do not understand what the graffiti says, the reactions from others indicate something profound. A well composed urban image, Agata.

@ Tim: I'll try to translate it in my bad english: "There is no longer any Virgilio to guide us into hell".
The reference is to the poet Dante and his Divine Comedy.
Without meaning spiritual, and moral guidance.
Thanks for your comment. Happy and fabulous 2018 Tim! :-)

You just have to read your caption, look at the picture and reflect or maybe cry.
A big hello Simonetta, and a wish that in 2018 we can all see the stars again.

I would say touching the writing and somehow disturbing, makes us reflect on the time we are living ... that 2018 will bring us to see the stars again ... but ...

I arrived late, but I arrived ...
Quoto totally the words of the increasingly surprising Michele.
Very good!

Very beautiful, significant and reflective. The shadow begins where the eye ends up reading the discomfort. Beautiful your call to the epilogue of the hell of Dante. It is not a shot hit and run. Really good
