I like all of this gallery and I think you are very lucky you have cosplay shows near home. Here we have the carnival, which contains cosplay in a broader street fiesta frame.

Back to the images, interestingly, some b/n are better than their colour originals, and I discover quite often it is about how well the model comes in b/n. I would expect the opposite - the costume, its contrasts, to be more important.
