Thank you so much Paolo for the very welcome comment and for the appreciation of the shot!
Wisdom, dear friend, runs on the internet and I'm sure you'll also find instructions on how to grow the Gentian in the garden provided you have a garden at high altitude! ;-) ;-)
However, come on, I took the shot in an area that I know to be very much loved by you and, perhaps, do before going to look for these flowers a little 'over the Sass Beccè!
Best wishes and a good weekend!

a yellow gentian ... this then: -o! and with virtues that make the pharmaceutical companies shudder ..
the flower is very particular, arranged on two levels, and splendid the color, and the punctuation. good Massimo, always fine eye.
good weekend, GA

Within the encyclopedia of Massimo, I get rich. In the mountains of Abruzzo the gentian abounds, to be grasped in modest quantities. Hello my dear! FB.

Many thanks, Simonetta, for your very welcome comment!
There are many colors of gentians. The best known, the alpine gentian, is blue, but there are many yellow, and then there is red and pink. As for the pharmacological properties, well, all that glitters is not all gold!
However, the bitter effect of the roots is really a stimulating appetite, but to be used moderately!
Have a nice Sunday!
