Incastonato tra le rocce, circondato dal bosco, nascosto ai raggi del sole: è il santuario di San Romedio, rifugio e meta di pellegrinaggio dall'anno 1000. In questo luogo si ritirò Romedio, un nobile che decise di donare tutti i suoi beni alla Chiesa dopo un pellegrinaggio a Roma. Un giorno, dovendosi recare a Trento, chiese ad un suo discepolo di sellargli un cavallo. Quest'ultimo era purtroppo stato sbranato da un orso; Romedio non si scompose e fece sellare l'orso. Incredibilmente l'orso si lasciò mettere la sella, conducendo Romedio fino a Trento...
