Overall very beautiful, especially I find the galaxy worked with great skill, except for the dominant purple. Too bad for some smudges of color (left) and the mountain peaks too bright. Anyway, congratulations!

Hello Klimt, thanks the careful examination. I always try to treat the processing as best I can but something escapes every time, also because of the time available, which for a non-professional is never very :-). Do you notice the dominant violet? In the sense, on my monitor does not seem so obvious. The sky was filmed with a camera equipped with Baader filter, to maximize the Milky Way detail, so the raw was heavily biased towards the red channel. I tried to rebalance the RGB contributions manually and this seemed like a good compromise, but I do not exclude that it could be improved again. Hello!

Remarkable Ale, remarkable, as always amazes what you can get out of an M5 in the right hands! :-or
If you organize something this summer I would like to join for a photo of the Milky Way. ;-)

@Claudio Santoro: thanks for the appreciation! :-)
@ Anna: thanks, it is a unique panorama in Piedmont, with a very low light pollution and optimal conditions for shooting in the sky :-)
@ Magu: thanks, I tried to make a careful recovery, to do justice to a magnificent place :-)
@ Andrea: have you been on the Gardetta? It is a truly unique place! :-)
@ Solner: thank you very much for the appreciation! :-)
@Cosmosub: very willingly, everything is to adopt the shooting strategies appropriate to their equipment :-)

Hello Ale I looked at all your photos at night, you are a real master with the m4/3 do absurd things, tonight I will try to make the milky way and I could not take tea as a cue, I have an Em1 old,12/40 pro is suffering a little sensor in the long exposures, let's see that jumps out...congratulations again

@Jerry: thank you, very nice! :-)
@Marco: thank you for the appreciation, if I can give a tip the 12-40 is a bit dark, in my opinion on micro it is good to shoot with targets at least f2.0 at night, not being able to stretch too much exposure times to not have startrails. Alternatively, you can also shoot with 12-40 high sensitivity, say iso 3200 or even more, take a series of shots and then a median stacking with Sequator or similar software, so as to recover the image quality :-) Good luck!
