, 1/5 f/18.0, ISO 50, tripod.

Beautiful light on the wood, composition and sinuous line in the snow, congratulations!

Very beautiful Leo, the chromatic contrast between the areas of the first floor (fabulous) and the central area is optimal, I would do a test by cooling the sky to invoke the snow area imho
Already I would take some cyan from the snow, then just :-D :-D

Andrea, pity not to have met! I was here around the day before, exactly back and forth between the Passo Giau and the Falzarego (especially since it started to snow!) As a hump to find some different perspective MrGreen will be for the next one!

Bah, I tried to bait but then I did not feel it because of the predictions, I stayed on only one night in squirrel (5 Torri).

When you are in the area (Tuscany) please contact me as well, from here in January I will be a bit around, but try not to harm and it is always a pleasure to share the shots.
A good greeting

hi leo !!

the photo I really like, the situation you got is great !!

but I do not think it's a problem with F18 ... with a FF where it usually takes to F16 I do not think prorpio is a problem of defect, but a bit of a focus. And it happened to me, if you're not careful, to have rubbing edges, due to the fact that I did not focus on the right point, or at least, on the field it seemed to me :-D :-D :-D

unfortunately a photo so it would be to trash, because it is useless, but I understand that for "webbing" use it very well!

I am astonished only as in many who have written, no one has noticed it: - /

It's a great picture of a good moment!

I wonder if there is a maf problem, @ f18 with a 14 (but it will be done at 14?) It is almost impossible to miss the maf. The fact remains that the second floor is lacking in sharpness, and I suspect that post-flare has been compromised. What I would like to point out is that half of the frame is occupied by the first floor, that is snow alone, while the most interesting part of the landscape and the atmosphere created there is almost relegated to comprimario. :-)

In one word: magnificent! from the color to the "fluidity" of the first floor.

Wow! So gorgeous, love the mixture of fiery sky and white flowing packed snow.

Diffraction with a d800 is already known at f8, I would like to avoid f16. Consider that the hyperfocal with a 14 mm is enormous, in fact if you do things for good there is no need to overrun f11, unless you have the nearest close up of 50-60 cm but it does not seem to me this the case. ;-)

Fatigue and endurance with the cold repayed extensively. : -o: -o for quality you mean the famous "sharpness" I think you're wrong, this picture is so beautiful ... if you had tried the appropriate combination (best for you) maybe you would not have this result.
In my humble opinion the perfect photos do not exist, the taste in photography is very subjective ... so there are photos that like them more and less independently of the taste of those who took them.
For me this photo is a great photo / picture, PDR and fairy tale: -you must also say that nature has helped you so much, but so much .. !!!
hello and congratulations
A greeting
Giordano
