Davvero impressionante e mai visto nemmeno dai driver's. Un gruppo di giraffe da una discesa impegnativa e molto lentamente sono scese al fiume, si pensava per bere (già di per se inusuale perché solitamente bevono nelle pozze). Con grande sorpresa invece hanno tentato il crossing, sospettose e circospette ci hanno provato ma dopo un quarto d'ora l'ultima, la più grande ha fatto retromarcia, non tanto per i coccodrilli non presenti in zona, ma suppongo per la forte corrente che le loro esili zampe non avrebbero sopportato. La risalita ci ha regalato momenti interessanti e divertenti, la pendenza era davvero impegnativa e nei punti più complicati sono risalite sulle ginocchia.
