:-( I wonder when a man is a man and he works to help each other and when a man simply stops photographing and denouncing?
I do not know, I can not judge this photo as an act of violence against minors, without questioning anybody, but I think that such harmful photos against minors should not have a media exposure, and much less to be enjoyed as a show.

ps The reflection we intend to do is not aimed at the photographer in good faith but a bit on the world of photography and on some themes

A shot that transmits strong feelings, profound meaning and denunciation.
The theme is increasingly felt by the violence that we are forced to see and hear every day through the media.
You've resumed the man like the villainous black man of fairy tales. Unfortunately it is not a fairy tale!
Compliments.
Miloga

We can witness an act of violence (extreme point towards a minor) is to say .... good ... beautiful shot ... beautiful?
For a moment, I remember the sad story of photographer Kevin Carter [URL =] www.vanillamagazine.it/-bambino-el-avvoltoio-la-vera-storia-di-una-fot change the world / and the accusations about him, and his sad end.
I agree with the photo as a document but some issues deserve careful management.

This shot I like for its meaning and because it is the most centered on the Jura contest. On one thing, however, I want to dwell on and look forward to your final explanation of whether it is composed or natural. I have read comments in which everyone professes the little nobility of the gesture without knowing what it meant at that time; I have some scappellotto and some spanking to my children I have given it and I did not hear it and I do not feel violent.
I love them so much that I could not live without them and, often, I thought that the most beautiful things I did in my life were those of being their father. While appreciating and feeling the right fit to talk about violence, I think the gesture of that father is a bad gesture of affection. Hi Andrea, and congratulations again for this shot of the thousand possible interpretations. Raffaele 8-)

You're right, real violence does not make a difference, it's very significant and it's hard to figure out what happened to you, I think you risk taking a picture of it ... but well this is journalism!

A greeting Agata

Very nice. In my opinion, it should win the contest, as it is the most natural of all, the atmosphere goes well with the meaning and - above all - it seems like a "spontaneous" violence, which in other cases is not seen.

Grande Danilo!
Andrea

Thanks, Pistinna, for explaining your shot, while reading it I was hoping to say that it was a shot built on an ad hoc basis ...
... I am relieved, even if the message remains intact

Bravo Andrea. The explanation is great, but anyway, and you emphasize it, let everyone have the freedom to interpret. In the contest, which I hope you won, your image was the most representative. A good greeting
Raffaele :-)

it's a shaking gesture, and a picture that is almost difficult to watch for so many reasons .. even choosing the position of the two, at the "shelter" of the wall and the trees makes an impression, as if I wanted to emphasize the hidden place of these situations . Congratulations on this impressive picture.
a greeting, GA
