The church of Vogogna seen from the tower of the castle sent on October 16, 2017 (9:24) by Mar40. 38 comments, 617 views.

Ccorcio sulla chiesa di Vogogna e sulla val d'Ossola visto attraverso una delle feritoie della torre del castello di Vogogna. Scatto effettuato in occasione dell'escursione fotografica con gli amici juzzini di Varese e Milano con la perfetta organizzazione di Massimo Schiavi. Il castello risale al 1348 e venne costruito per ordine di Giovanni Visconti allora vescovo di Novara e signore di Milano (in epoca medioevale i feudi venivano assegnati dall'imperatore ai vescovi-conti affinchè alla loro morte, non avendo eredi, le proprietà tornassero all'imperatore). La torre nella configurazione risale al 1446 ad opera dei Borromeo allorchè le feritoie vennero aggiunte, successivamente all'introduzione delle armi da fuoco. Il castello conserva nelle varie sale una ricostruzione con gli oggetti dell'epoca. Commenti e critiche come sempre graditi.
