Partiamo col dire che il ritratto è bellissimo, la modella molto espressiva, la posa ben "studiata" e il punto di ripresa particolare e diverso dai "soliti noti".
Quello che mi "turba", quando vedo ritratti come questo e come alcuni che faccio anch'io con ottiche molto luminose, è capire se sia stata davvero vincente la scelta di tenere così tanto aperto il diaframma....
Deduco che qua siamo a tutta apertura, o quasi. Mi domando (e ti domando....non in senso retorico o provocatorio...)? Se avessi chiuso leggermente il diaframma, per arrivare a "tenere a fuoco" entrambi gli occhi, non sarebbe stato più gradevole il risultato? O, invece, la "magia" sarebbe sparita?
Col mio 85 1.4 in più di qualche occasione mi riprometto di fare più scatti dello stesso soggetto, di cui alcuni col diaframma un po' chiuso, a f2.8 - f 3.5, ma poi, per vari motivi, non riesco mai ad avere due foto "uguali" coi diversi diaframmi per comparare il risultato....

Le tue osservazioni sono giustissime, avevo chiuso un pelino il diaframma ma non abbastanza, questo è stato uno scatto nato per caso durante lo shooting, stavo scattando da più lontano a figura intera e mentre mi spostavo per scendere dalla scalinata (lei era giù lungo il muro) ho voluto tentare lo scatto dall'alto quando sono passato sulla sua verticale.
Effettivamente anche a me nei primi piani, disturba un pochino avere solo un occhio a fuoco... effetti collaterali di quando si usano i superluminosi

Per quanto sopra apprezzo particolarmente il mio sigma 105 2.8 OS macro, che, nonostante non sia la sua destinazione elettiva, uso prevalentemente e con soddisfazione per fare ritratti (assieme all'85 1.4 e al Tamron 70 200 liscio).
Il fatto che il diaframma abbia un limite del f 2.8, per certi versi spesso mi "aiuta" a tenere bene a fuoco tutto il viso....con un f 1.8, f1.4, la "tentazione" di aprire tutto....spesso è troppo forte!
