Milano, Italy.

Il Cimento Invernale è una manifestazione milanese di grande tradizione (il primo è datato 1895) che si svolge a Milano l'ultima domenica di gennaio nelle acque del Naviglio Grande. Questa foto risale al 28 gennaio 2012, una giornata con temperature particolarmente rigide. A sfidare le acque gelide, oltre ad alcuni atleti della Canottieri Olona e Milano e a circa 120 comuni cittadini, un gruppo di atleti paralimpici dell'Associazione SuperAbili. Questa foto, che faceva parte di un piccolo reportage sulla manifestazione, l'avevo postata nel sito fotografico che frequentavo allora e l'avevo intitolata "Il Coraggio" e nella didascalia aggiungevo:"...non quello di tuffarsi nelle gelide acque del Naviglio, ma quello di affrontare la vita di tutti i giorni". #Jura #Jura5
