D'improvviso, la luce del sole squarciò le nuvole, e un raggio fortissimo illuminò le paludi del Delta. - Guardate, forze della natura! Ascoltate, divinità celesti! Il sole e le nuvole, il vento, il lampo e il tuono mi siano testimoni! Questo è il mio Delta -gridò il fiume. Grida di giubilo e di gioia accompagnarono le ultime parole del pioniere, mentre il raggio di sole ancora indugiava sulla distesa di acqua e scanni.
