Try objective sent on September 03, 2017 (19:31) by Annamaria Pertosa. 40 comments, 1794 views. [retina]

at 146mm, 1/100 f/11.0, ISO 800, hand held. Milano, Italy.

Very beautiful the flower, a bit of noise in the background, I do not know if it is the fault of the lens, I do not understand much about macro but I still wanted to express my opinion on the result!
A greeting affectionate Agata

Nice color and sharpness. Grain is enriching the image nicely. But I wonder whether you added the grain in post. I think that 6D does not produce remarkable noise at ISO 800. Compliments.

Excuse me if it disturbs me: someone has made me notice that this picture is very obvious noise. I can not understand, but the 6D at just 800 ISO already produces such a perceptible noise. I thought it was the fault of post production, maybe I was exaggerated with the sharpness, so I posted this other version.
Someone, kindly, wants to tell me if you do not see the noise, and if so why is this presence so obvious to 800ISO.
Many thanks to all
Anna Maria

The other version has obviously less even no noise. It can be the result of sharpness addition but rather it looks like a grain. I don't know which software you use. I use LR mostly. And sometimes I see the noise which is at an unexpected level. Most of the time it can be the grain effect in a Lr preset. And in all ways, your photo is really so nice...

The flower is well represented, both by definition and by color, the background grain is already perceived by natural vision and is quite inexplicable due to the reflex bono; or you've got some parameters in your car or it's the slow to put yours on, or the post is a little too pushy, 800 Iso at 6D should tickle or a little bit more, surely not catch so obvious noises; you should try the same shot by alternating this target and the 100macro (which is of another category, but it is fair to test the ilimites of the optics you have to see where they can get, of course you have to give it a hand, kind of good light, here it seems to me a bit cold and aunion but it is not a sufficient excuse); you have to do more shots and try to figure out if the problem arises when alblack a little iso or if it's occasional) ;-); best wishes.
A greeting, Claudio :-P
